These Terms of Service apply to your access to qboconverters.com, its file conversion tools, account features, and related services (together, the “Service”). “QBOConverters,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of qboconverters.com.

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is intended for people aged 18 or older.

QBOConverters helps you convert financial files to and from formats used by QuickBooks and other accounting tools. You are responsible for reviewing every converted file before relying on it. Conversion can be incomplete or inaccurate, and the Service is not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any feature, format, or part of the Service. Availability can be affected by maintenance, capacity, or events outside our control.

Some features require an account. Keep your registration details accurate, protect your sign-in credentials, and tell us promptly if you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, except where applicable law says otherwise.

We may restrict, suspend, or close an account where these Terms are breached, the Service is being misused, or continued access creates a security or legal concern. You may stop using the Service and may request account deletion through your account settings.

We may send service-related messages about your account, purchases, security, or changes to the Service. Where we send newsletters or promotional messages, you can opt out using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting support.

You keep your rights to files and data you submit. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process them. You give us permission to handle those files only as needed to provide and support the conversion Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Uploaded documents are kept for up to 24 hours and then deleted. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important documents and results. Do not upload material that is unlawful, infringes another person’s rights, contains malicious code, or that you are not authorized to process.

From time to time, we may make a free trial, contest, or other promotion available. A particular offer may have additional terms. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the offer-specific terms apply for that promotion. If a trial requires billing details, the offer will explain when paid billing begins and how to cancel before the trial ends. We may change or end an offer as described in its terms.

If you purchase a plan or other service, you may be asked for information needed to complete the transaction. You confirm that you are authorized to use the payment method and that the information you provide is accurate. Payment processing may be provided by a third party and is subject to the terms presented during checkout. We may decline or cancel an order if a service is unavailable, an order contains an error, or we suspect fraud or unauthorized activity.

Some plans renew automatically on the billing schedule shown at checkout. You authorize the applicable recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel through the account or billing options made available to you; cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. If a payment cannot be collected, access to paid features may be paused or ended.

We issue refunds for purchases requested within 14 days of the original purchase. If subscription prices change, the new price will apply from a later billing period after reasonable prior notice, giving you the opportunity to cancel before it takes effect.

Use the Service lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with other people or the normal operation of the Service. In particular, you must not:

• break or evade security controls, probe systems without permission, or disrupt, overload, or damage the Service;
• use automated tools or manual methods to monitor, copy, or collect site material without permission, except through documented API use;
• upload malware, spam, unlawful material, or content that violates another person’s privacy or intellectual property rights;
• send unsolicited advertising or chain messages, impersonate another person, or use the Service to defraud, threaten, or harm others;
• misrepresent ratings or feedback, interfere with another person’s use of the Service, or expose QBOConverters or its users to legal liability;
• resell, reverse engineer, or use the Service to build a competing service except where applicable law permits.

The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, belongs to QBOConverters or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the Service; they do not transfer ownership to you. You may not use our branding without written permission.

If you send us suggestions or feedback, it is not confidential. You give us permission to use it to improve or promote the Service without restriction or payment, and we are not required to act on it. This does not take away rights you hold in your uploaded content.

We respect intellectual property rights and will review valid infringement notices. Email [email protected] with the subject “Copyright notice” and include: your physical or electronic signature; a description of the copyrighted work; the location of the material you believe infringes it; your name and contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is unauthorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you own the rights or are authorized to act for the owner.

We may remove or restrict access to material and may close accounts of repeat infringers. Knowingly false claims may result in legal responsibility.

Some features may connect with services or websites operated by others. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, services, or availability. Review their terms before using them.

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that conversions will be error-free, uninterrupted, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose. You should independently verify outputs and keep your own copies of important files.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, QBOConverters will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, including lost profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to a purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product or service. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.

You can stop using the Service at any time and cancel a paid plan through the payment provider’s customer portal. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these Terms, a security issue, or when we stop offering the Service. Terms that by their nature should continue, including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits, will remain in effect.

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version here and changing the date above. If you continue using the Service after the revised Terms take effect, you accept them. If a court finds one provision unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement between you and us about the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of QBOConverters, without displacing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
